I am Hemal Dahanayake. I am twenty years old boy who lives in Sri Lanka. I have done Advanced level in 1998 August. I studied in the Royal College in Sri Lanka, which is the best school for boys in my country. I had my primary education in a primary school in my hometown. There I did year five-scholarship exam and I got 181 out of 200 which is very competitive exam in Sri Lanka. Because of that result I got admit to Royal College little bit far from my home.

There I did my O level and A level. As you can see in the extra & co-curricular page I became a member in several clubs and societies in my college and climb up to the student Chairman post in two and became the Road safety leader in the road safety squad which has about 100 trained traffic wardens.

After my O level I did a diploma in computer science. That was my first step in to the computer field. After that I won a scholar ship in TEC Sri Lanka for a one year advanced diploma. There I go a chance to learn about hard wear and networks. Then I got a new computer, which I still use. That time I got friends who are very good in computing. Some of them were the best in the island in soft wear section. Because of them I also start doing some soft wear development. Some of other friends used to ask me for help when they have some trouble with their computers.

Now I am seeking for admission in universities in USA. Last April I went trip to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. There I bought 440BX Intel motherboard, 400 MHz Intel P II chip, 16 Mb Riva TNT video card and some other hard wear parts and build a computer by my self.

I like to study Astronomy, Physics and Computer Science. In my spear time I watch television. These days I am doing weights training four days a week. I was appointed to the college web designing and developing team. www.lanka.net/royal. Which is updated by my self in every week.
